I teach four types of yoga!

It’s the yoga I practice the most personally. The name suggests it’s a strong practice, but that doesn’t mean all levels aren’t welcome (I always give options for beginners in all my classes).
It’s based on the Ashtanga sequence (a very established, traditional vinyasa practice) and blends postures from the Ashtanga primary, secondary and third series into a really fun (but equally challenging!) practice.
Because less emphasis is placed on what shapes you are making, and more on how it feels, you may find yourself flying into postures you’ve never tried before or becoming more comfortable in one’s that always seemed intimidating.
Many of us have more strength than we give ourselves credit for, but sometimes our expectations hold us back from trying something new.
Rocket yoga gives you everything you get in the gym and MORE.
☑️ Cardio – this continually flowing style gets your heart pumping and your body into fat burning mode
☑️ Strength and toning – it contains a lot of body weight style training (think plank and down dog) which really strengthens and tones your legs, arms and core
☑️ Stress Relief. The movement is combined with controlled breath work that really does allow your brain to chill so you experience the optimum state of energised body, calm mind!
☑️ FUN – it’s so, so enjoyable – you literally get to act like a 10-year old for an hour on your mat trying out shapes and sequences
☑️ Learn cool tricks! Ever done a headstand or arm balance? You will be surprised how quickly you start doing this stuff when you gain strength and confidence
☑️ On that note….body confidence is a big plus. Taking the emphasis away from doing exercise as a means to an end and focussing instead on developing and progressing postures. The result is a fit physique and strong toned muscles from just having fun!
